In honour of International Women’s Day 2024, Sun Life Malaysia collaborated with Tatler Malaysia for the Front and Female Awards 2024, honouring Malaysian women leaders across diverse, from women’s rights activists to healthcare leaders, who are driving the progress of women and girls in Malaysia.

As part of our commitment to empowering women, we sponsored the inaugural ‘Financial Empowerment Award’ to recognise individuals advancing financial empowerment agenda for women.

Congratulations to Nuraizah Shamsul Baharin, CEO of MADCash, for receiving the Financial Empowerment Award presented by Sun Life Malaysia. Nuraiza founded MADCash, a fintech company dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs who face challenges in accessing funding.

Through MADCash’s innovative programmes, such as Program Aspirasi Wanita, which is available across 12 states in Malaysia, Nuraizah and her team are empowering women business owners with the necessary capital, business acumen, and financial knowledge to thrive in their ventures.
