To help deepen the public's interest and understanding towards the values of family takaful protection, Sun Life Malaysia collaborated with the country's No. 1 English business radio station BFM 89.9, to curate a series of edumercials on the role of takaful in helping one plan, build, purify and distribute wealth.
Running in a series of three edumercials, these conversations were aired on BFM's Morning Run segment starting October until December 2022 and featuring none other than Jeffry Azmi Mohd Shah, CEO of Sun Life Malaysia Takaful Berhad.
The debut episode, aired on 27 October, examined the importance of Islamic estate planning and how Takaful helps ensure one will pass on their wealth to loved ones. Meanwhile, the second episode, which was aired on 23 November, discussed how people can build generational wealth with takaful. The final episode, aired on 14 December, talked about closing the retirement gaps with takaful.
By helping people to learn more about takaful protection, we could help them achieve both long-term financial security and religious aspirations. For Muslims, it could also provide them with more options to meet both financial and spiritual obligations.
