Amidst an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation, Sun Life Malaysia marked a significant milestone in its journey by hosting a grand ceremony at 1 Utama Shopping Centre on May 27, 2023. The event, attended by over 1500 guests, served as the official launch of our 10th anniversary celebrations.
Aptly themed ‘10 Years Brighter’ the signature ceremony signified our decade of remarkable achievements and commitment to empower Malaysians with lifetime financial security through our innovative life insurance and family takaful solutions.
The event was officially launched by Kevin Strain, Sun Life’s President and CEO, together with Ingrid Johnson, President of Sun Life Asia; Raymond Lew, CEO & President / Country Head of Sun Life Malaysia; Dato’ Noorazman Abd Aziz, Chairman of Sun Life Malaysia, and Jeffry Azmi Mohd Shah, Sun Life Malaysia Takaful CEO. The attendance of various distinguished guests, including our shareholders, Board of Directors, Clients, advisors, and employees, added an extra layer of excitement to the occasion.
As a brand deeply committed to sustainability and community wellness, we took the opportunity to announce our philanthropic endeavours for 2023, aimed at making a positive difference for the community and the environment. These initiatives include ongoing partnerships with HOPE worldwide Malaysia on impactful youth projects, a long-term tree planting programme with Yayasan Hijau Malaysia, and a collaboration with United Voice to empower individuals with learning disabilities.
During the event, we also presented 10 paintings procured from the talented artists of United Voice to our high-performing Sun Life Advisors.
It has been an awesome 10 years, and we look forward to an even greater 10 years ahead with you!
